My Food Bag has introduced My Lunch Box – a lunchbox option of recipes for healthy school time meals. My Food Bag co-founder, Cecilia Robinson, says there has been increasing demand from customers for a My Lunch Box option. “Families recognise the My Food Bag convenience and healthy food factors can also work brilliantly for the lunchbox. Customer feedback has been a big factor in us launching the My Lunch Box option,” said Robinson. My Lunch Box includes recipes and ingredients for he
althy lunches, snacks, and baking for four days. An option also exists for adding Yoghurt Suckies.
The healthy lunch offering is targeted at primary school aged kids.
Recipes are delivered by email and items such as a chicken and avocado wrap or potato corn and egg salad for main lunches, carrot, banana, cranberry and date loaf as a baked treat, and a peanutty celery vegetable snack.
Initially the weekly delivery will come as an add on for existing My Food Bag subscribers, but the business plans to eventually extend availability as a standalone selection.
My Food Bag has launched lunch mail meals for only four days based on feedback that many schools do special days for lunch once a week, such as fish and chip Fridays.
Orders are being taken from the week commencing April 13, with first deliveries arriving in time for the new school term on April 19.
