Four lifestyle product fairs organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) this month will draw thousands of exhibitors from around the world, including New Zealand.
The events cover fashion, lifestyle products, and licensing and all will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, culminating in the HKTDC Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair from April 27 to 30. That event will showcase a curated selection of gifts and premium products from 4000 exhibitors from 21 markets.
“This premier fair offers an ideal platform for exhibitors to showcase their latest products, fostering valuable networking opportunities and facilitating collaboration among industry professionals,” a spokesperson told Inside Retail.
This month’s Gifts & Premium Fair features a new zone, Outdoor & Sporting Goods, showcasing a wide range of products including camping gear, dance shoes, and sporting goods and the Cultural & Creative Corner is set to return this year, offering visitors a showcase of designer brands and products with unique styles.
A Hall of Fine Designs will also return as a convergence of reputed brands from around the world. Key brands in this zone include Red A and Tiny Memory from Hong Kong, and Yashica from Japan.
The Hong Kong Exporters’ Association has assembled a group of local companies in a separate pavilion, which aims to showcase the design skills and branding excellence of Hong Kong product designers. This display will also exhibit winning works from the Hong Kong Smart Design Awards.
Seminars hosted by industry players and associations will highlight key issues crucial to the gift sector’s development, such as consumer market trends, sustainability and the fast-rising silver economy. Speakers include representatives from Coresight Research, Google and Pinkoi.
