American footwear brand Vans is to launch in New Zealand next week with its first store opening in Auckland. 

Located within Westfield Newmarket, the 120sqm shop will house a wide range of Vans footwear, apparel and accessories for men and women, together with exclusive products for Kiwi customers. 

“Vans has a strong and loyal customer base in New Zealand and locals love to wear the brand,” said Ben Hapgood, group GM at New Zealand & Accent Wholesale. 

“Vans stores offer a great brand experience with an extensive product offering available from the iconic classics, new skate and lifestyle footwear styles, as well as a broad range of apparel.”

To mark the launch, Vans New Zealand has collaborated with New York artist Jason Woodside to showcase three custom Jason Woodside skateboard decks and offers fans opportunities to chat with him on the opening date. 

The Vans concept store is scheduled to open on December 10. The store will run a giveaway promotion and a competition for its customers during its launch.
