Bridgestone wins gold in Quality Service Awards

bridgestoneTyre retailer, Bridgestone New Zealand, has taken out gold in the tyre retailer category in New Zealand’s 2016 Quality Service Awards for the second year in a row.

Presented by Reader’s Digest, the annual independent survey directs consumers to the brands they can trust for outstanding service.

“Bridgestone is committed to providing products and services of the highest standard and this award reflects that commitment,” said Andrew Moffatt, Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand managing director. “Being the leading tyre retailer is a position we take very seriously so to win this award two years in a row is a great achievement and recognises the ongoing efforts of our people to provide the best tyres and the best service.”

The independent survey asked more than 1500 New Zealanders to vote in an online questionnaire to decide the winners. Respondents were asked to nominate service providers in 30 categories across varied sectors. The highest rated company in each category was judged the Gold Standard winner.

“Many of the comments we received as part of the voting process related to speed of service and the willingness of our staff to take time to explain things. These core service qualities are something our stores take very seriously so it’s great to see it’s what our customers are experiencing,” Moffatt said.

Reader’s Digest managing editor, Louise Waterson, said the survey gives consumers the chance to share their views about companies that consistently deliver the very best customer service.

“It also provides our readers with a list of companies that they can turn to for excellence in service,” she said.
