Smiths City Group’s board of directors has reported that following the successful introduction of its new CEO, Roy Campbell on May 1, its MD Rick Hellings has resigned from the group as from today.

The board has thanked Hellings for all he has done for Smiths City during his time from GM to CEO and finally MD, and wish him and his family all the best for the future.

Founded in Christchurch in 1918 by Henry Cooper Smith, Smiths City Group is a Christchurch based holding company active in three complementary industry segments, namely retail, property and consumer finance.
