Coca-Cola has launched its latest Coke&Go cooler vending machine powered by computer vision and AI, offering a faster, smarter, and more personalised experience.

Consumers can open the fridge door using their smartphones by either scanning a QR code or tapping a credit card. Product recognition technology identifies items and enables customers to finalise purchases through their connected payment options.

“It’s about making refreshment more intuitive, more accessible, and more aligned with how Kiwis live today,” said Terry Burbidge, GM of vending of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners New Zealand.

By incorporating smart inventory tracking, the latest version ensures that cooler machines are stocked with the right beverages at the right time, improving efficiency and reducing out-of-stock status.

Following a trial launched in Sydney Airport last year, the soft drink giant will roll out several hundred cooler vending machines across Australia and New Zealand during the next two years.
