Petdirect has announced the opening of two stores: One in Christchurch this month and another in Auckland next month, along with plans for further launches across New Zealand.
The upcoming store will open on August 25, located in Mt Roskill, Auckland, and will offer a four-day opening discount on pet food, flea treatments, and other services, while the first store opening in Tower Junction also offered discounts on a wide range of pet products.
The pet brand is planning to open the Mt Wellington store in Auckland later this year, and two more locations in early next year, as part of its expansion plan to offer pet services and supplies to Kiwis.
Offering in-store staff training that underwent over 100 hours of Petster University training, Petdirect’s stores feature self-service dog washes and grooming services, as well as a wash subscription.
“Petdirect is committed to providing pet parents with a complete shopping experience, both online and in-store. Our mission is simple: To make pet ownership as enjoyable and stress-free as possible,” said Shane Bradley, founder of Petdirect.
Last year, Petdirect launched 24-seven online pharmacy and opened its first physical store in Takapuna.
