China’s Ushopal builds global luxury portfolio, snapping up Payot

Ushopal Group has fully acquired French skincare brand Payot.

Ushopal Group has fully acquired French skincare brand Payot, expanding its high-end beauty investments portfolio.

Founded in 1920 by Nadia Payot, the brand’s products are now available in over 70 countries and it has a network of more than 5000 spa and professional beauty partners.

Its signature lines include My Payot, N°2, and Pate Grise.

Ushopal Group said it will preserve Payot rich heritage and professional skincare expertise, while broadening its presence “through innovative retail strategies, next-generation consumer experiences, and expanded global distribution.”

Currently, Ushopal Group has nearly 20 premium beauty brands, including Chantecaille, SUQQU, and Juliette Has a Gun.

Last year, Ushopal Group led the new multi-million dollar round of financing of luxury Chinese fragrance label Documents.
