DoorDash has launched in 10 more locations in New Zealand, allowing the food delivery company to service over 77 per cent of the country’s population.

The new locations are Te Puke, Tokoroa, Whakatane, Hawera, Feilding, Levin, Masterton, Ashburton, Oamaru and Wanaka.

Since DoorDash’s launch in Wellington in 2022, it has expanded expanded into 24 towns and cities including Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Hastings, Dunedin and Christchurch.

As a promotion, customers in the new Doordash locations can get 50 per cent off their first two orders and free delivery for their first 30 days on the platform.

“Whether it’s a Friday night feed, last-minute coffee run, or treat top-up, we’re all about making life easier for Kiwis,” said Bradley Thomas, DoorDash New Zealand GM.

“It’s great to be able to connect local merchants with more customers to help them grow and thrive.”
