Former Panhead GM Josh Drake has become Hell‘s new CEO, switching his career from craft beer to pizza. 

Drake joined Hell last month after spending almost seven years at craft brewer Panhead. He believes that, while Hell is an irreverent brand, his interest in the post sprang from its commitment to sustainability, ethics, and great pizza.

“I’m excited to meet the teams at each of our 77 stores and work alongside founder Callum Davies and our talented support office to grow Hell’s legendary status among existing and new customers,” he said. 

Before joining Panhead, Drake worked for six years on Christchurch’s response and recovery efforts following the 2011 earthquakes, which he says moulded his leadership style.
