Clothing retailer Country Road has entered the Tauranga market with the opening of its store at the Bayfair Shopping Centre.

Lindsay Baggaley, head of retail for Country Road, said that Tauranga has been part of the company’s “pursue list” for some time.

“We have loyal customers in the area who could only shop our brand online and not have the opportunity to experience it fully,” said Baggaley.

“We were just waiting for the right location and size of store and we are very excited to partner with Bayfair Shopping Centre.”

Activewear retailer Lorna Jane and womenswear and homeware boutique Flo & Frankie also opened their shops at the shopping centre.
