Stitch and send: Uniqlo launches online alteration service

Japanese apparel retailer Uniqlo has introduced an online alteration service allowing customers to alter pants and jean products and get them delivered to their doorsteps.

The new initiative comes as an extension of the retailer’s in-store alteration service. Australian customers, who may have missed the opportunity for alterations online, are still able to bring their unworn Uniqlo pants and proof of purchase to the nearest store to exchange.

Alterations will be free when having a lock stitch on items over $29.9 or $6 for a blind stitch.
