Mecca opens largest New Zealand store yet

Australian beauty retailer Mecca is launched its largest New Zealand store yet in Sylvia Park, Auckland on Friday, 2 July.

Spanning two stories and 491sqm, Mecca Sylvia Park houses more than 100 beauty brands including Nars, Hourglass, Urban Decay, Drunk Elephant and Tatcha. 

The new Mecca store features four beauty-service zones, offering more than 20 different functions across skin treatments, fragrance consultations, makeup applications. The store also introduces its first exclusive brow zone in New Zealand, offering tinting, sculpting and lamination. 

Meanwhile, Mecca Perfumeria is home to the most sought-after brands including Byredo, Diptyque, Frederic Malle and Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Mecca’s six-seater Beauty Lab concept helps customers to learn new beauty tricks and techniques.

Marking the launch, all services will be complimentary, including express makeup applications, facials, brow styling, dry hairstyling and Beauty Lab classes.

Founded by Jo Horgan, Mecca brands operates more than 100 Australian and New Zealand stores and six beauty concepts, including Mecca Cosmetica and Mecca Maxima.
