Menulog to roll out in 23 cities and towns by April

Food delivery marketplace Menulog has launched its full service in Central Auckland and will expand into 23 cities and towns this April.

The launch results from the high demand for more food delivery options and increasing numbers of restaurants looking to introduce delivery to expand revenue opportunities.

Menulog delivery service will be rolled out in 23 cities, including Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, marking the widest reaching hybrid food delivery marketplace in New Zealand.

“We’ve made a significant investment to launch the Menulog Delivery Service,” said Morten Belling, MD at Menulog.

“We’re focused on delivering greater value to our customers, providing new opportunities for our restaurant partners, and supporting them to grow their businesses.”

As part of the launch, Menulog will remove all delivery fees with a $10 minimum order during the first three months. By launching its full service, Menulog will have more than 1800 restaurants on its platform by this April.

“By mid 2021, the establishment of Menulog’s Delivery Service will see the number of New Zealand restaurants with access to a network of food couriers increase by 200 per cent,” said Belling.

Launched in New Zealand in 2012, Menulog provides self-delivery and online ordering technology for more than 1000 local restaurants across the country.
