Duty-free retailer, The Loop, has launched the first phase of a new look departures store at Auckland International Airport.

As part of on-going developments at Auckland Airport, retailer is introducing a new store, with the first section now open. The store houses luxury brands including across liquor, fragrance, skincare & cosmetics, technology and confectionery.

“With phase one of the airport’s renovations now complete, this was a great opportunity for The Loop Duty Free to create a fantastic new look,” said Tom Byrne, general manager, The Loop.  “We opened our first store in New Zealand just under two years ago and we believe this brand new store will set a new benchmark for excellence in duty free retailing. We are extremely proud of it.”

Part of of the global travel retailer, Aer Rianta International, The Loop will complete renovations in December later this year.

“We have worked closely with our suppliers to ensure their brands are presented in a way that resonates with shoppers,” said Byrne.
