Bobux unveils brand refresh, new shoe range

XplorerGraffiti-13 copy2Kiwi footwear brand Bobux will undergo a brand revolution and will launch a new shoe range this month.

Under the brand refresh, Bobux, which designs and manufactures an innovative range of baby and toddler shoes, will have a new brand story featuring a new logo and icon, and launch the new shoe range called Play.

The revamp will take place this month with three official launch events in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.

The company announced the changes are “part of a brand refresh that sees the 2016 product range expand while still aligning with Bobux’s developmental stage-based categories: Soft Sole for newborns, Step Up for kids new to walking and I-Walk for the more confident walkers.”

The new shoe range was designed with the playful kid in mind, and Bobux senior creative Ellen Ross said designing and developing the Play range was “fun.”

“We looked at how kids were using their shoes: running, jumping, kicking and climbing, which changed our design approach and challenged what we knew. We tried pushing the boundaries of design, just as kids push the boundaries of their shoes when they play,” Ross said.

Bobux co-founder, Chris Bennett, added that, “we love challenging ourselves to design shoes that are both stylish and good for kids”.

Invitees to the launch – which include a mixture of celebrities, influencers and trendy mums – will bring their children to specially-selected gyms where casual classes will allow the children to run, jump, climb and “play” to “celebrate the active, playful nature of the new range”.
