Cotton OnCotton On Group’s global expansion plan includes doubling its presence in New Zealand.

In view of this plan, it intends to employ another 1000 people over the next three years in addition to the current 1300 it employs.

The clothing retailer, which researches trends in NZ, will select brands and locations contingent on the store premises it is able to secure.

Known to offer quality fashion at fair value, the company is renowned for rejuvenating retail in smaller NZ provinces, which it sees as equally important as the larger metropolitan centres. This is manifest in its store locations from Invercargill, Whangarei, New Plymouth and Masterton to the major metropolitan centres like Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Spanning 17 countries and 1400 stores, it boasts seven brands and a total of 131 stores in NZ. It recently added Brazil and Namibia to the list of countries in which it has a presence.
