After the successful launch Topshop’s first flagship store in Auckland last month, Welllington has been selected as the location for a second store.

Fashion designer Karen Walker co-owns the rights to own, develop and operate the Topshop brand in New Zealand in conjunction with Barkers and Christchurch property business, the Carter Group.

Walker says she has found a site in Wellington for the British brand and expects to launch within a year.

The store in Wellington will be the same size as that of the Auckland store in Queen St, measuring 1300sqm over two levels.
Walker, Barkers, and the Carter Group have indicated that after Wellington, Christchurch could be next in line.
