Trade Me buys Viewing Tracker

Trademe Staff from the balcony of their offices in the NZX building.Trade Me has agreed to purchase Viewing Tracker, a property management vacancy tracker system.

The Wellington company was founded by Aaron Clancy 18 months ago, and minimises hassle for tenants and property mangers who are making arrangements to view rental properties.

Clancy, the sole staff member, is set to join the Trade Me team before the end of the year.

The purchase price is confidential but not material, and the cash-funded acquisition is expected to be completed prior to Christmas.

Nigel Jeffries, Trade Me head of property, said that the product is loved by clients, and deserves a wider audience.

“We want to increase the value we add and make the user experience on Trade Me Property better for both property managers and tenants. Aaron’s a smart guy with lots of knowledge around property management and rentals, and we’re looking forward to having his nous on board.”
