Countdown has opened a new supermarket, in the Auckland suburb of Hauraki Corner on the North Shore.

The store has Countdown’s latest, new generation format, and includes wider aisles and energy efficient fittings and equipment.

It will also offer the Click & Collect service.

Andre Ciseau, store manager, said that the new Hauraki Corner supermarket will offer a new, improved and modern shopping experience.

Countdown has 173 supermarkets throughout New Zealand, serving 2.7 million customers per week.
