FAB Group, the parent company of New Zealand skincare brand Caci, has appointed Simon Duffy as CEO, effective immediately.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, Duffy co-founded Bulldog Skincare and led the brand’s international expansion into more than 35 countries.

He was also honoured as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his contribution to the beauty industry.

FAB Group chair Michael Ambrose said Duffy’s understanding of the skincare sector and appreciation for the business made him the “perfect fit” for the role.

“He recognises the strength of our clinic network, the trust we’ve built with our members and customers, and the incredible team behind our brands,” Ambrose said.

“The strategy remains the same; Simon’s role is to build on the strong foundation already in place and lead the business through its next phase of growth.”

Duffy described the appointment as a “natural next step” in his career.

“What attracted me most wasn’t just the strength of the brands, but the strength of the people behind them,” he said.

“There is a genuine commitment to customers, trusted relationships with clinic owners and partners, and a clear ambition for the future. I’m excited to build on that momentum alongside the team and continue growing one of New Zealand’s most respected beauty businesses.”
