How Uniqlo’s creative direction is powering record global profits

Uniqlo’s parent company Fast Retailing has posted a record high profit for the year ending in August, with net profit surging 16.4 per cent to 433 billion yen. The Japanese giant posted revenue of ¥3.4 trillion (US$22.2 billion), up 9.6 per cent year-on-year, with operating profit jumping 13 per cent year-on-year to 564.3 billion yen (US$3.7 billion).  The company expects profit to climb to ¥610 billion in the fiscal year 2026 as it accelerates expansion across North America and Europe,
