Books and stationery retailer Paper Plus has launched an online learning platform offering Kiwis, particularly those facing educational challenges, access to its literacy and learning tools.
“At a time when families are facing increasing pressures, providing practical, meaningful support is more important than ever,” said Carrie Welch, Paper Plus’s COO.
The initiative provides a wider, more inclusive range of quality and accessible learning resources with a focus on the selection of products that support those with learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, poor comprehension, sensory challenges, and reluctant readers.
“As a national bookseller and stationer, we see a real opportunity to improve access to tools that many families are looking for but struggle to find,” said Welch.
“We recognise a clear gap in accessible, inclusive learning resources and we are committed to championing literacy and learning where it matters most: Within our local communities.”
While the brand offers a cross-category range, including books, stationery, and learning tools, the launch marks its first step in broadening the brand’s children’s category.
Recognising that local families struggle to find suitable resources to support their children at home due to the education system’s pressure, the in-store Paper Plus Learning Corner is expected to grow over time.
