Premium menswear label Rodd & Gunn has opened three new stores in the UK as part of its international expansion program.
The new stores, located in Edinburgh, Bath and Winchester, are the brand’s first standalone locations outside London.
The Bath and Winchester stores cover 3735sqft and 3344sqft, respectively. Meanwhile, the Edinburgh store occupies an area of 1504sqft and is the label’s first location in Scotland.
Rodd & Gunn has been working with real estate advisor Savills to prepare for these openings. They are part of the company’s strategic move to open further stores across the UK, which was initiated in March.
“Our brand continues to resonate strongly with UK consumers, presenting us with unparalleled growth opportunities in this market,” CEO Mike Beagley told Drapers. “The early performance of these stores reinforces our confidence in a bright future in the UK market.”
“Rodd & Gunn’s strategic expansion across key regional UK markets highlights the growing demand for premium menswear beyond London, aligning to their ever-growing global presence and also meeting the increasing appetite for quality retail experiences,” added Alex Glavas, director in global cross-border retail at Savills.
