PVH Corp-owned fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger has launched a flagship store in Queenstown, the brand’s first store to open on New Zealand’s South Island.

Located on Rees Street, in the heart of the town’s central shopping area, the store spans 217sqm and offers the latest menswear and womenswear from the Tommy Hilfiger and Tommy Jeans collections.

Tommy Hilfiger product retail sales were roughly US$9.1 billion globally last year, and the brand is now present in 100 countries through more than 2000 retail outlets, including its largest global flagship store.

PVH purchased Tommy Hilfiger in 2010 and is pursuing a strategy of increasing the brand’s global relevance, presence, and long-term growth.

Earlier this year, the fashion brand launched a collaboration with the pre-loved apparel app Depop which provides the company with a way to sell clothes sourced through its customer take-back scheme, as well as shop-soiled clothing from retail shops, e-commerce, and wholesale partners.

Tommy Hilfiger also granted Give Back Beauty Group the exclusive worldwide licence to its beauty and wellness company last year. Give Back Beauty will commercialise Tommy Hilfiger’s existing fragrance brands, including the Impact and Tommy Now franchises.
