Australian bags company Strand will launch an online store for its luggage brand Nere in the UK, marking the company’s first foray into the market.
Nere offers a range of luggage, travel bags, and accessories for the style-conscious traveller at affordable prices. The brand was established in Australia with the idea of making travel “more fashionable, economical, and fun”.
Launched in July in Australia and New Zealand, Nere aims to create vibrant collections. It will offer UK customers four collections – Stori, Wonda, Caype, and Relm and Edit – there.
“Nere launched just over two years ago when we saw the opportunity to take our already successful Flylite travel brand and reimagine it as a travel lifestyle brand, suitable for today’s modern traveller,” said Felicity McGahan, group CEO at Strand.
The entire collection includes suitcases, tiny cases, and vanities, as well as tote bags and duffle bags, baggage tags, handles, and packing cubes. The brand says new colour palettes, product enhancements, and an ongoing attempt to incorporate sustainable elements will be features of the lines.
Strand – formerly known as Strandbags – was founded in Australia in 1927 and now operates more than 300 physical outlets throughout Australia and New Zealand.
