Beverage company Curious AF will open its first permanent alcohol-free bottle shop in Auckland on Friday, (November 18).

Following the opening of a pop-up bottle shop (which was open for a brief period in July), Curious AF will provide the whole lineup of pre-mixed cocktails in addition to ice moulds, garnishes, glassware, and accessories.

Additionally, Curious AF says the shop will restock Kin Europhics, a nightcap that was introduced by model Bella Hadid that swiftly ran out during the first week of the popup. Ghia, a non-alcoholic aperitif from the US that has been featured in Vogue and Forbes, will also be available.

“To have our first resident retail space open in time for Christmas is incredible and it speaks volumes about how much the Curious AF movement has grown in New Zealand,” said AF founder Lisa King.

Founded in 2020, AF Drinks aims to make it simpler to explore an alternative relationship with alcohol by normalising an alcohol-free lifestyle and fostering discussion.

The Auckland store, built by architecture firm Wonder Group, has a modern design idea, a glass-made exterior, and a grey tone throughout the retail space. There is a wall displaying the brand’s proprietary beverage.
