As more Kiwis turn to alcohol-free beverages, Auckland’s first alcohol-free bottle store, The Curious AF Bottle Shop, has opened.

Located on Ponsonby Rd, The Curious AF Bottle Shop will be open for six weeks, until July 31, and will feature a range of alcohol-free champagnes, wines, beers and spirits from around the world.

The store, founded by Lisa King who also set up the Kiwi social enterprise Eat My Lunch, aims to help people explore their relationship with alcohol.

“By launching The Curious AF Bottle Shop, we want to continue to normalise the subject of not drinking, so it’s not a socially awkward conversation or situation,” said King.

“And we want to introduce kiwis to the vast variety of alcohol-free drinks available – you don’t just have to drink water!”
