The Warehouse Group incentivises staff to get vaccinated

The Warehouse Group is incentivising staff to get vaccinated against Covid-19 with a one-off $100 payment to fully vaccinated team members.

The company employs approximately 11,000 people, and operates The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, Torpedo7, The Market and 1-Day.

“The Delta variant has highlighted the need to be proactive in doing what we can to eliminate this virus from Aotearoa,” said The Warehouse Group’s chief executive Nick Grayston.

“[We’re doing this] to help protect our people, our communities, and our customers against Covid-19.”

All employees who have received both doses of a Covid-19 vaccine up until 26 November will be eligible, with the bonus being paid in December.

The business was previously part of a trial with the Ministry of Health to provide vaccinations at a number of workplaces across New Zealand.

The group has put its hand up to support workers and Kiwis several times this year, having already pledged support for kids who have been exposed to family violence, and providing free period products to all staff members.
