McDonald’s trialling NZ delivery service

McDonald'sFast food chain McDonald’s is trying out a new delivery service at its New Lynn and Glenfield restaurants in Auckland.

The McDelivery service has started in New Lynn today and with the service to be rolled out at the fast food chain’s Glenfield location next week. Delivery will be available within a limited radius from each restaurant.

Joanne Mitchell, McDonald’s spokesperson, said the new service is the company’s way to offer their customers more choice and convenience.

“Since the launch of McDelivery in other markets, Kiwis have been asking for McDonald’s delivery in New Zealand. All of our innovations – from McCafe in drive-thru to all day breakfast, and now McDelivery, have been driven by the changing needs of our customers,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell said customers can place their order on menulog.co.nz and that the service is restricted to the evening between 1700 and 2230, with a minimum order and delivery fee applicable.
