Victoria’s Secret has launched at Auckland Airport’s international terminal alongside Walker and Hall, Ruby and Saben.

The boutique will offer Victoria’s Secret sportswear, lingerie, swimwear, makeup, fragrances and accessories to travellers duty free.

As the largest American retailer of women’s lingerie, whose 2012 sales were $6.12 billion, Victoria’s Secret is renowned for its fashion shows with models Candice Swanepoel, Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima.

The brand is following the trend that is seeing iconic global fashion brands such as Topshop, Seed Heritage, Prada, Dior and French Connection enter the Kiwi market.

Accessories brand Kate Spade will open a concession store in T Galleria Auckland next month, while jewellery company Tiffany & Co. is also set to open in Britomart next year.

Locals are delighted, with one commenting, “Flood me with Victoria’s secret nectar”.
