Westfield breakfast series returns for 2015

Westfield-breakfast-seriesTickets are selling out fast for the Auckland edition of Westfield’s Breakfast Seminar Series on Monday September 14.

The breakfast will focus on the importance of people in retail, even in the digital space.

Speakers include retail futurist, Howard Saunders; editor in chief of InternetRetailing, Ian Jindal; and global MD of Labstore, Jon Bird.

Howard Saunders has worked in retail design for 25 years, developing strategy and branding for major UK and European retailers. Now based in New York, Saunders travels the world speaking and writing about the revolution that retail is currently facing, helping his clients navigate their future. His current clients include Ebay, Magento, CBRE, Westfield, Marks & Spencer, Visa and private equity firm Permira.

Based in New York, Jon Bird leads Labstore, Y&R’s worldwide retail and shopper marketing practice, with over 20 locations from Madrid to Manila. Prior to Labstore, Bird was a founding partner of IdeaWorks, Australia and New Zealand’s leading retail marketing agency, and chairman of Inside Retail, to which he still contributes.

Ian Jindal, editor in chief of InternetRetailing, is a consultant, publisher and advisor in e-Commerce and multichannel retail. His retail clients include Selfridges, House of Fraser, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Asda, Couturelab, Waitrose, De Bijenkorf, Kering, Disney.
