Disney•Pixar’s most-loved characters are toppling into Countdown stores with the launch of the latest collectible craze – Disney•Pixar Domino Stars.
The new collectible domino range features 50 characters to collect from Disney/Pixar films including Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, A Bug’s Life, Brave, Cars, and the latest box office hit, Inside Out.
The dominoes are designed to be collected and used to build the ultimate domino racetrack with obstacles including a Domino Stars bridge, maze, and staircase. Customers will receive a free Disney•Pixar Domino with every $20 spent instore or online at Countdown until 13 September 2015.
Countdown GM for marketing, Bridget Lamont, says previous Countdown collectibles ranges have been a hit with Kiwis and she anticipates shoppers will fall in love with the Disney•Pixar Domino Stars too.
“By taking a classic toy and giving it a modern twist with the Disney•Pixar characters, we’ve created a toy that evokes nostalgia for an older generation and introduces dominoes to a new generation in an exciting way,” says Lamont.
“We’ve had an incredible response from shoppers to our previous collectibles and we anticipate Disney•Pixar Domino Stars will be just as popular.”
