New tenants for The Landing

ZambreroZambrero, Remarkable Physios and an ethnic grocery specialist are joining The Landing community in Queenstown.

Zambrero is an Australian-owned Mexican franchise and will open in 2015, occupying 100sqm with indoor and outdoor seating, and offering takeout and dine in options.

Franchise owner is Yevrah Ornstein, a former co-owner and manager of Matakauri Lodge.

“I saw The Landing was opening and I knew then I had found the perfect spot to open. The premium location has such potential,” he said.

The company’s philanthropic practices fit well with Ornstein’s personal beliefs.

Zambrero sells healthy, fresh and nutritious Mexican food, and supports humanitarian projects in Africa, Asia, and the Americans, and Australia through its Plate 4 Plate initiative.

For every burrito or bowl sold, another meal goes to someone in need around the world.

The quick service restaurant franchise was established in 2005 and now has more than 45 stores throughout Australia.

Remarkable Physios is relocating to The Landing in April 2015, moving its Remarkables Park clinic to a ground floor corner location of the development.

The clinic will have four private treatment rooms and a fully-equipped rehabilitation gym.

“The Landing is in a highly visible location and we’re excited to be moving into a ground floor site that gives our patients easier access and parking directly outside. We’re looking forward to being part of the expanded retail shopping, close to the new High School, planned Conference Centre, and other growth in the area.”

The clinic will retain its CBD clinic in the centre of Queenstown for the convenience of locals and visitors, Davidson said.

April 2015 will also see the opening of a Christchurch-based ethnic grocery specialist on a 450sqm site.

“Specialising in Asian foods from China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines, the yet to be named store, is run by three directors who specialise in this area of the food market,“ Jinman Nan, who was speaking on behalf of the directors, said.

Nan said that Queenstown’s fast and growing district was the ideal place for a second business venture.
