Rick Hellings, Smiths City Group MD, has resigned after 30 years with the group and its subsidiaries.

To ensure a smooth transition Hellings has agreed to remain with the company until a new CEO is appointed.

The search for a CEO will be conducted by executive search and recruitment company EQI Global Limited, the company said in a statement.
