The sale of the Wellington Harbour City Centre has been approved by the shareholders of Kirkcaldie & Stains.

The shareholders voted in favour of the decision at a special meeting of shareholders on September 23 2014.

Kirkcaldie & Stains entered into the sale and purchase agreement in August.

The $45.85 million sale is to property investor Charlie Zheng.

The settlement of the sale will be on October 7 2014.
