Fashion brand Wynn Hamlyn has launched a summer pop-up store at Westfield Sydney, marking its first retail space in Australia.

Running from December to the end of summer, the store aims to offer an elevated and interactive shopping experience for both Sydneysiders and visitors.

The brand said the space is a natural step in its journey to connect with the discerning taste and fashion sensibility of the local community.

“Bringing Wynn Hamlyn to Australia feels like a natural progression for us. We are excited to further entrench ourselves in the Sydney community and begin setting up a base here,” said Wynn Crawshaw, director.

The pop-up’s concept embodies the brand’s distinctive identity while also drawing inspiration from Sydney’s coastal allure. Its design incorporates an azure carpet spanning from the ceiling to the floor, as well as cobalt countertops and platforms “representing the ocean’s fluidity”.

Crawshaw, as a hands-on designer, rendered the interior, painted the walls & POS, and installed the railings and bespoke carpet. His industry peer and fellow New Zealander – Ben Mazey – also contributed his works to the concept.
