Sustainable skincare and household products maker Ecostore will offer 35 per cent off all products sitewide this Black Friday to support ocean health.
Dubbed ‘Blue Friday’, the retailer has partnered with Live Ocean Foundation – a New Zealand-based ocean conservation charity founded by sailing champions Peter Burling and Blair Tuke – in this initiative.
Ecostore will donate 5 per cent of every sale made between November 25 and 30 to the charity to help scale up its outreach in marine science and innovation.
“Flourishing coastal ecosystems play a vital role in keeping our planet healthy by fixing carbon and releasing oxygen – 50 per cent of the world’s oxygen comes from the ocean,” said an Ecostore spokesperson.
“It’s a blue-tiful thing.”
