Training companies support Kiwi retailers through Covid and beyond

Online training company, RedSeed, has announced the acquisition of one of New Zealand’s oldest training companies, KiwiHost.

With over 250,000 New Zealanders participating in KiwiHost’s face-to-face workshops during the past 30 years, the KiwiHost brand brings a strong legacy to RedSeed.

“The business landscape has changed rapidly over the past 18 months, and welcoming KiwiHost into the fold aligns with our vision of supporting Kiwis to get back into work, and Kiwi businesses to grow,” says RedSeed CEO and Founder, Anya Anderson.

“We have seen massive growth over this time, following the growing need for businesses to support a remote workforce,” says Anderson.

Following the announcement of the first lockdown last year, the company made the decision to release their online course ‘Managing Stress & Anxiety’ for free to the public.

The course, which was developed in partnership with Clinical Psychologist Graeme Clarke, has since been completed by over 3500 Kiwis.

“While we have seen a lot of interest in delivering face-to-face workshops to support staff returning back to work, the merger has also helped us engage with the likes of MSD to deliver training for back-to-work initiatives.” says former KiwiHost CEO, Jared Brixton, who will be staying on as the Market Development Manager for RedSeed.

Together, the brands offer over 120 business-ready courses which cover everything from customer service, sales, and soft skills, to compliance, leadership development, and employee wellbeing.
