Ex-Brand Collective CEO Martin Matthews joins APG & Co Martin Matthews is the new chief executive officer of APG & Co, which owns Australian fashion brands including Saba, Sportscraft and Jag. Formerly the CEO of Brand Collective, Matthews oversaw a range of brands including Superdry, Hush Puppies, Shoes and Sox, Mossimo and Volley. He was there for six years, prior to which he was group general manager at Pacific Brands. Matthews left Brand Collective in July this year and in September

Ebay welcomes global chief growth officer
Online marketplace eBay has appointed Julie Loeger as global chief growth officer, a newly created role that brings together global marketing and global customer experience to focus on customer acquisition, retention and service.
Loeger, who will take on the role in January 2021, will report directly to Ebay CEO Jamie Iannone.
“As we continue toward our vision of becoming the best global marketplace for buyers and sellers, Julie will join the leadership team in driving the overall company strategy focused specifically on attracting and retaining customers while identifying new pathways for growth,” Iannone said,
Loeger joins Ebay from Discover Financial Services, a US financial services brand, where she served as the company’s executive vice president and president of US Cards and played a key role in influencing the company’s vision and drove meaningful results through brand management, consumer insights, new account acquisitions, product innovation and customer experience.
Levi’s appoints Ulta Beauty exec as new board member
Denim giant Levi’s has appointed Elliott Rodgers as a new board member.
Rodgers currently serves as chief information officer of beauty retailer Ulta and has more than a decade of experience in the retail industry.
“Elliott has deep knowledge of e-commerce, digital transformations and how to drive operational excellence in today’s omnichannel supply chain,” said Stephen C. Neal, chair of the board of Levi’s.
“His expertise in all of these areas will be invaluable as we focus on direct-to-consumer and continue to look for innovative ways to get our products to our consumers when, where and how they want them.”
