New Zealand retail businesses and brands have been recognised as some of the country’s fastest growing organisations.

Meal kit delivery service Woop, online haircare and skincare brand Ethique and convenience store chain Night ‘n Day have all been named regional category winners in Deloitte’s annual “Fast 50” index, which ranks the fastest growing companies in the country.

Ethical underwear brand Nisa, apparel brand Addison Clothing, food brand Real Rad Food and skincare brand Syrene Skincare also have been recognised as regional rising stars.

Deloitte will announce its annual “Fast 50” index, as well as the national category winners, national rising star winner and national “Master of Growth” index, at an all-day event in Auckland on November 13.

Deloitte private partner Bill Hale said this year’s regional winners demonstrate there are successful businesses across the country.

“These results clearly demonstrate that there are a diverse range of businesses all across New Zealand that are achieving outstanding growth,” he said in a statement.

Woop ranked 8th on Deloitte’s 2018 “Fast 50” index, with 669 per cent growth, and Night ‘n Day ranked 35th with 224 per cent growth.
