Quality Marine Clothing (QMC) has relaunched the sailing apparel brand SLAM in the New Zealand marine clothing market with Uniform Shelf acting as QMC’s agent in the country.

The Italian brand, which has undergone a complete revamp with a new owner, a new head office in Genoa, Italy, and a new logo, features some of its classic products and styles that were given a refresh and some new innovative pieces.

According to SLAM, the pieces in the collection combine the traditional colours of the nautical world like pearl white, dark navy and optical greys with red.

The brand’s first collection, which is focused on crew and corporate apparel, is characterized by elegant lines and slim cut, SLAM said. The brand will soon introduce its sportswear and yachting collections.

“We were honoured to represent SLAM for QMC in New Zealand with a few Superyachts asking for the brand directly upon hearing it was once again available in the country,” said Duthie Lidgard from Uniform Shelf in New Zealand.

Stocks have arrived this month and have been made available by Sailors Corner in Auckland with other locations to be added each month.
