Kewvin-Wordon-e1534732912746Retail Food Group’s (RFG) chief digital officer Kevin Wordon has left the global food and beverage company to join marketing software business, Marketo.

An RFG spokesperson said the digital function has been reallocated to the individual brands’ marketing teams under the new chief marketing officer, Steve Perry.

“RFG’s approach to digital is that the function now [sits] under the respective brands within the marketing team to ensure our franchisees obtain maximum value for their marketing spend,” the spokesperson said.

At Marketo, Wordon will be serving as a digital strategy consultant for the company’s business clients.

“Enterprise digital and marketing transformation is such an exciting place to be right now and I can’t think of a more dynamic place than Marketo to explore this,” he said.

Prior to working for Retail Food Group, Wordon was the global head of digital for Flight Centre Travel Group where he oversaw the digital transformation for the company’s eight corporate brands. He also held roles at City Beach, Eagle Boys Pizza, Westfield, and Macquarie Leisure.

Will Griffith, managing director of Marketo in Australia and New Zealand, said Wordon’s new role include helping Marketo customers navigate the complexities of digital strategy and transformation to deliver best results.
