Briscoe Group Limited’s executive director, Alaister Wall, has announced his intention to retire as an executive and director from the company effective at the end of their current financial year (January 2017).

Company chair, Dame Rosanne Meo, said Wall’s contribution to the company, “has been immense”.

“His achievements and strong personal commitment to his colleagues at all levels of the company over so many years cannot be replicated,” Meo said.

“It is obviously critical to ensure the continuity of complementary skills around the board table and to ensure a board composition that is appropriate and relevant for the future needs of the business,” she added.

Meo said the company board will commence its search for a suitable replacement for Wall very soon and stated it is their intention to appoint a non-executive director to the board to fill the vacancy.
