Colorado brewery, Eddyline Brewery, has expanded its global footprint to New Zealand with the opening of a brewery and pizzeria in Nelson.
The company said expanding to New Zealand gives the brand’s loyal customers a “basecamp” to visit.
“Molley (Heynekamp) and I have a vision for the Eddyline brand to grow internationally with individual Eddyline brewpubs serving as gateways to incredible places around the world,” said Mic Heynekamp, Eddyline’s founder. The Heynekamps are overseeing the new operation in New Zealand
The New Zealand location brews the flagship Eddyline Crank Yanker IPA, among other Colorado recipes, as well as create new beers that will become feature beers in Colorado.
“This expansion gives us a very unique perspective that will allow us to create new and unique beers, give our customers exciting opportunities to travel between locations, and lay the groundwork for future expansions both locally and abroad,” said Brian England, Eddyline’s CEO.
“The synergy between Colorado and New Zealand is quite amazing and we look forward to how we can create new opportunities for Eddyline’s customers and employees,” England said.
The company recently underwent a brand rebrand and changed its logo and packaging of the company’s entire product range.
