Toy giant, VTech, has expanded its infant and preschool lines, and launched a newly improved online Milestones resource, specifically created to help parents select toys based on the individual needs of children from birth to nine years old.

Around 80 infant and preschool items have been added to the line’s collection. The new products to be introduced include the Care for Me Learning Carrier, an interactive travel pet carrier; Ring & Learn Cash Register, an interactive cash register with shopping basket and food; and Gallop & Rock Learning Pony, a two-in-one toy that transforms from a rocking horse to a ride-on to enhance motor skill development. New additions to the preschool line include Zoo Jamz Piano, a zebra piano with microphone that plays songs, melodies and instrument sounds; and Mix & Move Bizzy, an interactive, educational robot with interchangeable accessories like arms, legs, hats and more.

“We are committed to building upon our mission to create innovative educational products that enrich children’s development at every age and stage,” said William To, president of VTech Electronics North America, in a news release.

VTech, which manufactures gadgets, tablets and baby monitors, announced its online Milestones resource will provide parents guidelines and recommendations in selecting the right toys to supplement their child’s learning and development. VTech products are distributed in New Zealand by Atlas Gentech (NZ) Limited.
