Sales from vacuum cleaner retailer Godfreys’ New Zealand stores have fallen by 3.4 per cent for the first half of the 2015 financial year.
Sales for NZ were $13.1 million, with gross profit margin coming in at 60.9 per cent, impacted by products sourced from Australia.
It is one a several local retailers to release disappointing half year sales.
There are 29 Godfreys stores in NZ, 11 of which are franchises.
Total sales for the Australia-based company were down 1.6 per cent on a like for like basis, coming in at A$90.6 million
The result is consistent with forecasts following a change in the product mix.
