Veritas Investments has appointed Rod de Vries as GM of the Nosh Food Market.

He will commence his role on January 19, 2015.

Veritas acquired the Nosh Food Market on September 9, 2014.

de Vries has previously worked as the chief operating officer for Restaurant Brands, GM for KFC and Pizza Hut, and director of operations for Compass Group, a food service company.

“We are delighted to have someone with the experience and calibre of Rod joining Veritas to head up our Nosh business. We see enormous potential for Nosh and it is great to secure a top quality general manager to take it forward,” Mark Darrow, Vertias chairman, said.

The Nosh Food Market was run by Mad Butcher CEO Michael Morton while the position was appointed.
