Warehouse exec joins EstarOnline

 

suit, corporate, tie, executiveE-commerce solutions company, EstarOnline, has named Andrew Buxton as CEO.

Buxton comes the Warehouse Group, where he has held roles since 2003 in retail leadership, supply chain, and IT.

His most recent position was CEO multi-channel of the group, and CEO of Torpedo, leading digital expansion strategy for two years.

“Andrew is a highly experienced retailer whose experience in New Zealand and our key markets will be fully utilised to help EstarOnline meet our growth potential,” Stuart Nattrass, EstarOnline chairman, said.

“His insights into multichannel and supply chain strategy, as well as his perspective on the services and solutions todays retailers require will be highly sought after by our clients.”

During his time at the Warehouse Group, Buxton led multi-channel growth across traditional brands, in addition to the developing and acquiring of new businesses and brands.

These included Torpedo 7, R&R Sports,  1-day.co.nz, Number 1 Fitness, Shotgun Supplements, Big Bucket Deals, TV International Brands, and pet.co.nz.

Buxton has more than 25 years of international experience in multi-channel environments, including start-ups and global brands.

Prior to the Warehouse Group, Buxton owned his own businesses, and worked in senior business development and consulting roles with Descartes in Singapore and Hong Kong and established KPMG’s Asia Pacific Consumer and Industrial Markets consulting practice.
