How teen Sofia Sacoor started an athleisure brand to support kids with diabetes

Portuguese athleisure brand SÜ1 is expanding its global presence as it looks to raise funds and awareness about Type 1 diabetes.  Founded by a dynamic 17-year-old, Sofia Sacoor, the brand marked its entry into the Malaysian market with a weekend pop-up event at Sunway Pyramid from March 23-25.  Beyond just showcasing stylish and comfortable clothing, the pop-up directed a portion of its proceeds towards supporting children with Type 1 diabetes.  Speaking to Inside Retail, Sacoor
